William (Bill) M. Neilson age 67 passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Bill is predeceased by his father, Edward Neilson, his grandson, Titus Cortina and his sister, Beth Gruber. Surviving is his wife Jeannie Neilson, his mother, Lorretta Neilson, his daughters, Morgan Bradley (Justin, Jr.) of Berlin, NJ and Paige Cortina (Austin) of Hammonton, NJ. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Alton Cortina, Johb Cortina, Justin Bradley III (Tripp), and his brothers and sisters, Eddie Neilson, Larry Neilson, Paul Neilson, Timothy Neilson, Jeffrey Neilson, Mary-Jo Boudinot and Peggy Santamorena.
Bill Neilson was a proud graduate of Spackenkill High School and went on to follow his passion for food by attending The Culinary Institute of America earning a culinary degree. Bill built a successful path as a chef and later followed his entrepreneurial dream by owning and operating his own business selling and manufacturing vegetarian food products.
Outside of working Bill truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved golfing, fishing, boating, the beach, and sharing a cold beer paired with a fireball at Racks with friends. Known for being the life of the party with the biggest heart Bill brought laughter and energy wherever he went. Bill loved watching his daughters play softball and took great pride cheering them on from the sidelines, sometimes even participating as the first base coach. Those moments along with singing Irish songs, dancing, and most of all spending time with his family who meant the world to him were forever held close to his heart.
Bill will be remembered for his vibrant personality, passion for food, and the joy he brought to those around him. His laughter, warm embrace, and love for life will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment to be determined.
