Thomas Williams

Thomas E. Williams, age 47, of Marlton, NJ, passed away suddenly on September 13th, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Racquasi Williams (née Higgs); mother, Andrea Lynn Williams; children, Alayna Higgs, Vashon Atkinson-Spicer, Tyler Allen, and Kambree Williams; brother, Randall James; grandmother, Annie Williams; as well as his great-aunt, Lily Williams, and close cousin, Regina Williams. Thomas is also survived by his many loving friends and cherished colleagues at the Burlington County Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Williams, and brother, Adam Williams.

Thomas was a United States Army Veteran and served in the National Guard. He worked as a correctional officer for Burlington County. Growing up in Michigan made him a devoted Michigan sports fan. Thomas’ love for poker was legendary among his friends and family, who cherished countless nights of laughter and camaraderie around the table. His strategic mind and quick wit made him a formidable opponent, but his warm heart and generous spirit earned him a loyal following. When not shuffling cards, Thomas could be found piecing together complex puzzles, a hobby that challenged his problem-solving skills and brought him a sense of calm. Thomas often traded his poker face for a more lighthearted grin, competing in cornhole tournaments and bowling. His competitive streak and infectious enthusiasm made him a beloved fixture in these communities.

Most of all, Thomas cherished the time and various trips he spent with his family. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the countless games, puzzles, and good times they shared.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco, NJ. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Condolences may be shared on his online guestbook.
