Thomas Shorrock

Thomas Frank Shorrock, age 87, of Shamong, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 21st, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Renee, Michelle (Aaron) and Miriam "Mimi' (Andy), cherished grandchildren, Bridgette, Robert (Nicole), Shea, Quinn and Genevieve as well as his 5 great-grandchildren Julia, Nicholas, Gianna, Sophia, McKenzie, as well as 1 great-great grandchild, Aleigha, and his niece, Patricia. He was predeceased by his wife, Miriam, grandson, Kevin, parents, Frank and Lillian (nee Thomas) and his sister, Lillian.

Born and raised in East Falls Philadelphia, Thomas was a United States Coast Guard Veteran, which he had great pride for. Tom had a love for wildlife. As a child he would save pigeons and snakes and in his retirement he enjoyed drawing them in his yard so he could watch them fondly. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and bowling league with his wife, Miriam. Until very recently, Thomas kept his mind sharp by reading seven books a month and doing daily Sum-Doku and Extreme Sudoku puzzles. His family lovingly remembers their trips to Disney, Canada, the Poconos and having Sunday drives.

As a good man, husband and father, his quiet strength will be deeply missed.
