Teresa Bassano

June 13, 1967 — May 16, 2025

Teresa Bassano, age 57, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025. She was born in Camden, NJ, and was a proud graduate of Burlington County College, where she earned her degree in Nursing.

Teresa, lovingly known as Teri, dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Most of her career was spent as a surgical nurse, a role she held with unmatched passion and commitment. She prided herself on her professionalism and decorum of the operating room. Teri worked at numerous surgical centers throughout her career.

Teri had a deep love for the beach, especially spending time in Long Beach Island. An avid Eagles fan, she loved Frank Sinatra and never turned down a good sushi meal. But above all, she adored her two beloved Yorkies, Joey and Marco. They brought endless joy to her life, and she proudly embraced her role as the best "dog mom," often taking them to the dog park and showering them with love and care.

Teri was incredibly funny, quick-witted and smart. She will be deeply missed.

Teresa will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her twin sister, Lisa Lane (Dan); sister, Maria Tomasetta; and her cherished nieces and nephews; Andrew DeNittis, Julianna DeNittis, Bobby Lane, and Lance Lane. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Philomena Tomasetta, and siblings, Linda Bassano, Francis Bassano, and Denise Bassano.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Teri's love for her dogs, donations may be made to Philly ACCT in Teresa's memory by clicking here.
