Suraj Singh

Suraj Singh passed away on December 24, 2025, at 9:45 P.M. after a brief illness. He was just shy of his 90th birthday by a week. Some years ago, he was an active member of the Senior Citizens group in South Jersey.

He came to US in 1970 for his post doctoral studies and returned to US permanently in 1976. He had a PhD in microbiology and had fulfilling professional career as a professor and researcher at Baylor school of medicine, Michigan State University, Tufts University, and Hershey School of Medicine. He retired in early 2000 as a director of vaccine manufacturing company, IGI in Vineland.

He has two sons, Devendra Singh, well known community leader in NJ and President of HindiUSA and Mahendra Singh, who lives and works in Indiana. He has 4 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Suraj Singh should be remembered for his unwavering willpower, dedication, and reliability.

Viewing and Puja will begin at 9:00am Sunday, December 28th. Cremations will take place immediatly after the viewing

उनका åयावसाǓयक, पाǐरवाǐरक और सामािजक जीवन कǑठन पǐरĮम, समप[ण और Ǔनèवाथ[ सेवा से पǐरपूण[ था। समय का सदुपयोग एवं Ǔनय तता, अ च त अनुशासन और चुनौǓतयाँ से जूझने कȧ ¢मता मɅ उनका कोई सानी नहȣं था।

वे अपने पीछे ऐसे उदाहरण छोड़ गए हɇ िजनका अनुकरण करना एक टेड़ी खीर है, तु पǐरवार के सदèय उनके पद Ûहɉ पर चलने का Ĥयास करɅगे।
