Steven A. Cunningham

Steven Alan Cunningham, 73, of Lindenwold passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. Steve lived a life that was defined by devotion to his family, service to his community, and his strong work ethic.

Steve shared 52 years of marriage with his high school sweetheart, Susan Cunningham (née Stewart). Proud father of Megan Schlitsey (née Cunningham) (Will) and Sean Cunningham (Shannon). Pop-Pop to his cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Sean Michael, Nora, Molly, and Colin.

Also survived by his sister, Linda Vicchiarelli, of Somers Point, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve served as a volunteer firefighter for many years, dedicating himself to the safety and well-being of his community. He also served on the Lindenwold Shade Tree Commission for a number of years. He retired after 30 years at Vaughan Heating and Air Conditioning in Magnolia, but he never slowed down.

Steve possessed an extraordinary talent to fix anything. His wife called him "My MacGyver," and he never hesitated to lend those talents to help others. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and remembered always.
