Obituary

  • Stanley W. Lloyd Jr.
    August 6, 1951 - June 27, 2026

Stanley W. Lloyd Jr., 74, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and the love of his family and friends.

Born on August 6, 1951, in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, Stan spent much of his life in Magnolia and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He worked for the post office for many years and served as Union Vice President, roles he carried out with dedication, integrity, and pride. He was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures-a good diner, especially when seafood was on the menu, a long drive with no particular destination, great music, and, above all, time spent with those he loved.

A devoted football fan, Stan was especially passionate about the Philadelphia Eagles. Whether watching a game, sharing stories, or enjoying a meal with family, he appreciated the moments that brought people together.

Stan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eleanor Lloyd, and by his parents, Stanley W. Lloyd Sr. and Thelma E. (Cox) Lloyd.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Michelle Lloyd, and his son-in-law, Joseph Hubbard; his sister, Cheryl (Lloyd) Mee; along with extended family and friends who will miss his humor, kindness, and enduring presence.

Stan will be remembered for his love of family, his humorous spirit, and the many memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

A visitation will be held at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home in Atco NJ on Monday, July 13th from 10am-11am. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Dennis Township NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Stan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, honoring his memory through support of children and families in need. Please use this link to donate or the link below this obituary.
