Sidney J. Norcross, Jr.

Sidney J. Norcross, Jr., 88, of Hammonton, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. Sidney was born in Camden, NJ to Sidney J. and Ruth Norcross (née George) Kleibrink. He was a dedicated mechanic A for over 25 years for NJ Transit. In his leisure time Sidney loved going fishing and hunting.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Ethel Mae (née Fraser) Norcross; and his son-in-law, Randy Wolf.

Sidney is survived by his daughters, Cindy Herd and her husband Bil and Betty Jean Wolf; his sister, Patti Iles and her husband Ron; his grandchildren, Nicole Wolf Hand and her husband Kevin, Kelsea Wolf McKeown and her husband Kyle, and Joel Herd; his great-grandchildren, Kevin Hand, Jr., Sydney Hand and McKenna McKeown; his longtime friend, Sidney Fussell and his faithful dog, Freida.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Burial will follow at Winslow Methodist Cemetery, 27 Hall St., Winslow, NJ.
