Shantilal M. Patel

Shantilal M. Patel, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 4, 2025 in New Jersey at the age of 86.

Shantilal was born on June 10,1939 in Vadodara, Gujrat, India to Mahijibhai and Reva Patel, and was the eldest of four brothers and three sisters. He graduated with a degree in civil engineering, and ran his own business successfully for many decades, helping many others with their businesses along the way before his retirement. Following his retirement, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his extended family and sharing meals with them, especially when sitting in the swing chair at his home.

Shantilal is survived by Pravina, his wife of 59 years; his two sons, Mukesh and Jayesh; daughters-in-law Sangeeta and Shalini; his grandchildren, Hemansi, Rishi, Vedant, and Hemani; two of his brothers and two of his sisters, alongside many more relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

A viewing and puja will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Followed by cremation.
