Sandra Wassenar

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sandra Wassenar, of Williamstown, NJ, who left us on August 12, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on June 19, 1954, in Quakertown, PA, to the late Walter and Blanche Douglas.

Sandra found immense joy in gardening and cooking. Before the pandemic, she volunteered at St. John's, dedicating her time to work with children. Her kindness, patience, and ability to connect with young souls left a lasting impact on those she mentored, and her legacy of care and compassion will continue to inspire many.

Sandra is survived by her son, David Wassenar, her sisters, Clarissa Monkton (Dennis), and Linda Douglas (Gary), and her nieces, Kristin and Alyssa.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home in Atco, NJ. Condolences may be shared on her online guest book.
