With a deep sense of loss, we are sad to announce that Sandra D. Rosenberger, known to many as Sandi, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. She was 81 years old.
Sandi was born on March 20th, 1944, in Camden, NJ, and lived in Atco for most of her life. She proudly worked for the State of New Jersey in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for 25 years.
If you ever had the pleasure to visit her at her home on Raritan Ave, it was obvious that she took great pride in having the most beautiful flowers in her gardens. She was an expert gardener with the greenest thumb anyone could imagine.
Besides being an incredible gardener, she was gifted in arts and crafts. If you were a friend or even an acquaintance, there's a good chance she made you a pair of slippers or a blanket at some point. The home is filled with figures that she painted-oftentimes it was hard to tell what was store-bought and what was something she painted. Many may even remember the painting classes she gave in the basement.
She was an avid reader, loved puzzles and computer games, and would spend hours playing them, earning thousands of badges to show for it.
Sandi is survived by her loving husband, Howard, with whom she was married for 50 years. She's also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who all knew her as Mommom, as well as her sister and nieces. She is predeceased by her youngest son, Jason.
After her family, Sandi loved animals more than anything, and in that spirit, we ask that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage or any other charity that cares for animals. If nothing else, plant something and think of her as it grows.
We'd like to thank everyone who stopped by, called, messaged, sent food, gifts, thoughts, and prayers. We knew how much we loved her as a family, and it's a blessing to see how many people's lives she touched. She will be missed forever.
Sandi will be laid to rest and reunited with Jason at the Atco Cemetery, 2242 Bartram Ave, Atco, NJ 08004, on Saturday, November 29th, at 12:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
