Rosemarie Jacobs

Rosemarie Jacobs (nee Barresi), age 64, of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Thursday September 20, 2018 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Joseph Jacobs. Loving mother of Rosemary Candela. Proud and adoring mom-mom of Brianna and Joseph. Dear sister of Pauline (Felix) Morales, Joann (Bob) Brosius, and Carol (Sal) Jacobs. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Rosemarie is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mildred (nee Solazzo) Barresi, as well as her in-laws Salvatore and Sue (nee Domenico) Jacobs. Rosemarie was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, NJ. She worked for the Town of Hammonton for 45 years, serving as the Tax Collector. Rosemarie was a member of the Hammonton Drug Alliance, former president of the Tax Association of Atlantic County, and she was an active and devoted parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. Joseph’s Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, whose greatest passion was helping others. Services and interment for Rosemarie will be held privately.
