Robert "Tony" Wells, Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Tony" Wells Sr., a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us peacefully on April 29, 2026. Born on November 3, 1946, in Camden, NJ to Kirk P. Sr., and Grace D. ( née Holloway) Wells. Tony was a lifelong resident of Pine Hill, NJ, where he made countless memories with his family and friends.

Tony found joy in the simple things in life. He was a proud truck operator, dedicating his career to the trucking industry and displaying the same passion behind the wheel as he did in all aspects of his life. When he wasn't on the road, you could find him out on his boat, fishing with a smile, or tinkering with his beloved pickup trucks and tools. He had a heart for helping others, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Barbara (née Harris) Wells; his cherished sons, Robert "Tony Jr." Wells, Jr. and Scott M. Wells; his two sisters, Gail Smith and Sandy Chandler, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his siblings, Kirk P. Wells, Joseph Wells, Jacqueline Wells and Joan Falcone; and his grandson, Mikael Scott Wells.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
