Robert T. Torrance

On September 10, 2026, Robert (Bob) Thomas Torrance, of Waterford Works, New Jersey, passed away peacefully. He was born to the late Robert and Patricia Torrance.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Richman-Torrance; his son, Aaron (Cassidy) Richman; his beloved grandchildren, Brielynn and Benjamin Richman; his brother, Jeff (Lynn) Torrance; his sister-in-law, Roslyn McGivney (William); his nieces and nephews, Alex Torrance (Derek and Kaden Hoinkis), Ariel Torrance (Tyler Sylvester), Rachel (Andrew and Harlow) Sutton, and Thomas McGivney; as well as extended family members and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Bob worked as an Airflow Testing and Balancing Engineer with Sheet Metal Workers Local 19. He was known for his skill, determination, and hands-on ability to repair, build, weld, and improve just about anything. Whether working on hot rods, tinkering in the garage, helping a neighbor, or lending a hand to family and friends, Bob approached life with patience, kindness, and a generous spirit.

He had a lifelong love of cars, especially hot rods, and enjoyed welding, hunting, shooting, social gatherings, and time spent with the people he loved. Bob was often the life of the party, funny, quick with a joke, and always laughing. His warmth, humor, and willingness to help anyone in need left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend Bob's visitation on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, New Jersey 08004 with eulogies beginning at 4:30 p.m. The family would like to invite guests to share favorite memories or stories at that time.
