Robert Nevitt

Robert T. Nevitt, Sr., age 90, of Voorhees, NJ, passed away on August 4, 2025.

Born in Clementon, NJ to the late John and Charlotta “Lottie” Nevitt (nee Miller), Robert proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1953 to 1956.

He worked for 25 years at Sherwin-Williams Paint Factory and was a longtime member of a local bowling league. A devoted Philadelphia sports fan, Robert loved cheering on the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. He also enjoyed going out to dinner.

He is predeceased by his parents and his grandson, Craig Travers.

Robert is survived by his beloved children: Cynthia Nevitt (Robert Wilsey), Robert Nevitt, Jr. (RoseMarie Nevitt), Linda Chew (Joseph Chew, Jr.), John Nevitt (Dorothy Nevitt), and Brenda Travers (Richard Travers); his cherished grandchildren: Danielle, Christopher, Robert III, Joseph III, Allison, Nicole, Christina, Elizabeth, Corrine, Joshua, Daniel, Brian, Andrew, Jeremy, and Emma; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, August 8, 2028, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
