Robert was raised in Thorofare, New Jersey, and spent the last 10 years of his life in Voorhees, New Jersey.
A carpenter and mason by trade, he was passionate about his work, his politics, and life itself. He was an avid writer to the White House and state representatives, regularly sharing his views on various topics.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Jackson IV and Christopher Asquith; his daughter, Kelly Asquith; his brother, William M. Jackson and his wife, Susan; and his sisters, Deborah Jackson Dougherty, Jacqui Zubrzycki (and her husband, Ed), and Darlene Hunsinger.
He is also lovingly remembered by his partner of 30 years, Kimberly Cathcart, and by his many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004.
