Phillip D Hughes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phillip D. Hughes, age 75, of Williamstown, NJ. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Gail Hughes, children, Jennifer Hughes and Daniel Hughes (Natalie), grandchildren, Mikayla, Guiseppe, Angelina, Bianca, and Olivia, his siblings, Linda Kille and Joyce Schaffer as well as his cherished dog, Carley. Phil was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Elizabeth Hughes and his sister, Carol Legosky.

Phillip was a devoted family man. He was a proud veteran who served his country honorably and carried that pride throughout his life. A lover of the outdoors, he found joy in fishing and spending time on his boat, where he embraced the tranquility of nature. An avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, many cherished memories were made watching games with family and friends. He also shared a special bond with his horse, Buddy, and had a well-known knack for busting the chops of those around him, often bringing laughter and lightheartedness to any gathering.

Family and friends are invited to attend Phillip's visitation on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004 with military honors and a service to follow at 2:00 pm.
