Obituary

Paul Gerard Leech, Sr., of Hammonton, New Jersey, passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 75.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Paul was the son of the late Robert and Bertha (née Anderson) Leech.

He was known throughout his life as a hardworking and dedicated man who would always offer to help anyone in need - with anything - no matter the task. Paul was a talented mechanic, as well as an entrepreneur who owned and operated several businesses. His main career was in construction where he obtained the level of Certified Lead Carpenter. Some of his finished carpentry work is published in woodworking magazines.

Paul was a man who enjoyed working with his hands and was very creative. He had a special love for woodworking and took great pride in building his own home. His appreciation for craftsmanship and mechanics also extended to his love of Corvettes, which he proudly owned and enjoyed throughout the years.

Above all else, Paul cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his exceptional talents, and the love he shared with those closest to him.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sally (née Waters) Leech; his children, Paul G. Leech, Jr. and his wife, Misty, and Jennifer Hutnick and her husband, Chris; his siblings, Larry, Bob, Jimmy, Marion, Chris, Fran, and Jerry; and his cherished grandchildren, Dacoda, Jackson, Grace, and Gabe. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends and will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
