Patricia Ann Buckley, age 69, of Berlin NJ, passed away on Monday June 9th, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Buckley and beloved grandson Stephen Woods III (Steve) her "second daughter "Heather Tonczyczyn; treasured by long time best friend Sharon Rutheford, a.k.a. "Thelma to her Louise"; her brother Mark Buckley (Regina) and sister Linda Waidler Tucker (Roger). She was also the beloved "Me-Mom-Mom" to Chase Tonczyczyn and aunt to Sarah Waidler (Robert), Jennifer Gaffney (Bill), Samantha Jaramillo (Dan), Christie Cloe (Jake) Brittany Drobinske (Chris) and leaves behind great nieces and grand-nephews and many close friends. She is predeceased by her parents Winfield and Mary Buckley.
Patty grew up in West Berlin, New Jersey and attended Edgewood High School in Atco, NJ. She worked for the United States Postal Service until her retirement. She was an avid die-hard obsessed Eagles fan and never missed watching a game whether that was with Sharon at the stadium (while arguing which route to take/where to park and if the JETRO lot was full) or on the TV with the volume turned up to 1000 so she couldn't hear you talk and dare miss a play. She never missed an opportunity to trash talk the Dallas Cowboys despite her daughter's allegiance to their Team. She was proud to see the Eagles win another Super-Bowl before her passing which was literally her dying wish to further rub it in, AGAIN, that Dallas still has yet to get there "since the 1990s." Pat has lived a colorful, fun life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson Stephen and all of her friends as well as sampling various Tequilas.
Patty has resided for the past few years at Atlas Post Acute at Woodbury Country Club in Woodbury, NJ. The staff became extended family to her and the care, dedication, compassion and kindness delivered was immeasurable and will never be forgotten. A special thank you to the Company leadership and building Administration as well as all of the staff who ensured her day-to-day life was one that was purposeful and very well lived -especially Kiyetta, Pree, Paige, Annalyn, Vaughn, and Amber (Vitality) among many, many others.
Cremation will be held privately at Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, June 16th, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at LeRoy P.
