Nancy H. Bolis, age 84, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Duke and Helen DiDonato.
Nancy was previously employed as a pit clerk at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City in the early 80's, where she met her husband, Thomas Bolis, who worked as a pit boss. Following her time at Harrah's, they decided to move to St. Augustine, Florida and enjoy retirement in the sunshine state. Nancy also enjoyed her time as a tour director for the Oldest Wooden School House Museum & Gardens in St. Augustine.
Nancy and her late husband cherished their time in Florida, where they enjoyed riding bikes along the beach together. She also loved playing tennis, going for walks, and working in her yard. Nancy could often be found rearranging her furniture, enjoying giving her space a fresh look.
Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Bolis.
She is survived by her children, Bruce McDonnell (Pam) and Sherry Roback (Mike); her grandchildren, Anthony McDonnell, Jesse Thompson (Alicia), Shane McDonnell, Michael Roback, and Riley Roback; her great-grandchildren, Madison and Taylor McDonnell and Tessa and Wyatt Thompson; her sister, Dianne McDermott (Brian); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association by clicking here.
