Michael T. Crutchley Sr.

Michael T. Crutchley, Sr., of Atco, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn "Lynn" D. (nee Schwegel) Crutchley; his son, Michael T. Crutchley, Jr. and his wife, Amanda; his son, Keith Crutchley (deceased), his daughter, Kristin DePalma and her husband, Ken; and his precious grandchildren, Morgan, Michaela, Jaxon, Leah, and Mason. He will also be fondly remembered by his treasured siblings-in-law, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Mike was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1948. He attended primary and secondary school at Girard College in Philadelphia, graduating in 1965, in which he was voted class clown. He then attended Temple University graduating with his BBA. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded three medals including the Bronze Star Medal.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Mike spent his 36-year career as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. His strong work ethic and humor was an important part of who he was, and he took great pride in his career and in providing for his family.

Mike enjoyed listening to music, watching the Philadelphia sports teams, his morning Dunkin' coffee, solitaire, The Inquirer newspaper puzzle games, all from the comfort of his recliner. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Marie Crutchley; and his siblings, Marie, Frank, and Regina.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mike's viewing on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004.

On Monday, September 28, 2026, a eulogy will be offered at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ 08004, followed by Military Honors and a graveside service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mike's memory may be made to The Compassionate Friends of Camden County.
