Mary Scharff

Mary "Joyce" Scharff, 81, of Winslow, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025.

Born on June 2, 1944, Joyce was the beloved daughter of the late Marie Walto. She graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1962 then, married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Jack. Together they built a large, close-knit family rooted in love and laughter, with Joyce devoting her life to raising her children and creating a warm, welcoming home.

Joyce was known for her kind soul, gentle spirit, and tender heart. She loved playing cards with friends, going on casino outings, doing puzzles and most of all, spending time with her nine grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Mom-Mom." She was their greatest cheerleader, always proud of their accomplishments and endlessly supportive in everything they did.

Joyce is survived by her five children: Stephanie Dillon (Patrick), Jacqueline Pinto (Michael), John Scharff (Andrea), Kimberly Brodbeck (Sonny), and Christina Kalani (Paul); and her nine cherished grandchildren: Nicole Veliz (David), Madison Pisano (Matthew), Sean Dillon, Ryan Dillon, Jake Brodbeck, Danielle Pinto, Casey Scharff, Cayla Kalani, and Paul Kalani.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 315 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004. Mass of Christian burial to begin at 11:00 am at the church. Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory.
