Mary Carol (Cantley) Dennison, age 73, of Atco, New Jersey, passed away on October 24, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Mary was born on December 24, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, to Charles and Marguerite Cantley. She grew up in Springfield, PA, and was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend throughout her life.
Mary was an independent woman with a fierce love for her family. She would do anything and everything to support and care for the people she loved. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family - whether gathered for a holiday, at the beach, or simply an afternoon backyard barbeque.
She was a two-time cancer survivor who faced life's challenges with quiet strength and resilience, beating the odds with determination and grace.
Mary enjoyed reading, gardening, and trips to the shore, but nothing meant more to her than family traditions. She especially cherished the holidays. Her warmth, love, and devotion helped create memories her family will carry forever.
Mary is survived by her children: George Dennison, Jr. (Cathy), Michael Dennison (Karen), and Tracy Peacock (Charles). She was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, affectionately known as "her babies," Alexandria Colon, Katelyn Gregerson, Mason Gregerson, Haley Dennison, Hannah Dennison, Aidan Dennison, Carly Peacock, Emily Peacock, Natalie Peacock, along with one great-grandchild, Mick Colon. She was a loving sister to Jeannie Flaherty (Martin), Charles Cantley (Kelly), and Peggy Vogelman (Steven Vogelman).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marguerite Cantley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 10 AM-12 PM, at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 12 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by clicking here.
Mary will be remembered for her strength, her heart, and the love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.
