Mark V. Burkhardt, a beloved brother, uncle, and dedicated craftsman, passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on November 22, 1964, in Camden, NJ, Mark devoted his life to his family, friends, and the art of cabinet making in the family business, P E Burkhardt & Sons in Lindenwold, NJ.

Mark was not only a co-owner of the family countertop and cabinetry business, but he was also a master of his craft. His talent stood out in every project he undertook, leaving a legacy of quality and artistry that will be cherished for years to come. He took pride in helping others, always finding ways to lend a hand or share his knowledge with those around him.

Outside of his work, Mark was an avid fisherman who found peace and joy on the water. He was known as a compassionate, friendly, and engaging person, who had a great sense of humor, whose infectious laughter and warm spirit made him a cherished friend to many and a source of strength to his family.

Mark will be lovingly remembered for his remarkable spirit and the love he shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his brother, Paul Burkhardt III, his sister, Barbara Hayes, nieces and nephews, Tommy, Christina (Matt), Adrienne, Alicia, Barbie, and Michelle as well as his great nieces and nephews, Dakota, Natalie, Mason, Sophia, Matthew, Vayda, Morgan and Nate. Mark also leaves behind his honorary nephew, Paul and his many friends at The Fountains in Atco. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Winona Burkhardt.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM.
