Makayla Kendall-Wilford

Makayla, lovingly known as "KayKay” and “Kayla," Kendall-Wilford, age 19 of Philadelphia, PA and Lindenwold, NJ, passed away Sunday, March 26th, 2023. Makayla was a beautiful soul; she was kind, smart, and very talented. Makayla graduated high school and was on her way to college. She dreamed of opening her own bakery as she loved to bake; however, that doesn’t mean her creations were always good. Makayla was a talented artist who loved to draw as well as crochet. When it came to UNO, she held nothing back.

Makayla was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She LOVED her nieces and nephews, all 12 of them, especially her Goddaughter, Love. Makayla is survived by her father Steven Wilford; bonus mother, Natasha Williams; sister, Shaidara; brothers, Steven, Shymere, Saayed, Nahmere, Chase, and Mustafa. She is preceded in death by her mother, Tamika Jasmine Kendall. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Cynthia Wilford, Phyllis and Ronnell Norville, and Karen Kendall, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
