Lamothe J. Bolden

Lamothe (Joe) J. Bolden age 79 of West Berlin, NJ passed away on August 26, 2024, at his home. He was born to the late William H. Bolden and Marion Lamothe Bolden in Washington, DC. He worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Tasty Kake for many years. While employed at Tasty Kake, he owned 2 bars on South Sat. in Philadelphia, PA. Joe also served his county in the Armed Forces.

In his spare time, Joe loved to build models, especially boats. The backdrop on the website for Joe’s obituary is a detailed model of the “Titanic” His apartment was full of models.

Joe is survived by his brother, Louis Bolden of Philadelphia, nieces and nephews and his care givers who helped Joe during the last few years of his life, Santina Norman and Terry Vandegrift.

It was Joe’s request that when he passed away, that he was to be cremated and his cremains are to be scattered at sea. There will be no services.
