Kathy was born on November 11th, 1955 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. She lived most of her life in Berlin, NJ, then moved to Mullen Manor in Sicklerville, NJ, where she lived for the last 18 years.
Upon High School graduation from Camden County Vocational School, Kathy continued with classes to receive a nurse's aide certificate. She worked as an aid for many years at the Medford Convalescent Home and also cared for her friend's family members in the comfort of their homes. Residents at Mullen Manor could always depend on Kathy for her help, kindness and generosity. While living there, Kathy used her car to transport many of the disabled residents, unable to drive, to and from their appointments and take them for their shopping needs. Kathy was their "Best" resident. Kathy was also known as the family's #1 dog sitter. Her brothers and sisters never had to worry when Kathy watched their dog. She took care of the dogs as if they were her own.
Some of Kathy's childhood favorites were playing her piano and looking forward to the annual 4th of July parades and celebrations at Berlin Park. In her adult years, she enjoyed volunteering at local Church Carnivals and attending Midnight Mass at Christmas where she occasionally played the organ.
Kathy was a very generous and kind soul. She would not hesitate to help pay the bill for the person in front of her at the register who was short money nor would she hesitate to give someone at Mullen Manor one of her extra sweatshirts or an extra jacket if they needed one.
Kathy Siedlecki lived a simple, down to earth life without many worries. She practiced her faith and believed in continuing God's work while on Earth. She leaves us with her smile, greatness of heart and her good works she shared with those in need.
