Kathleen R. O'Neill

Kathleen R. O'Neill (nee Lane), age 78, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026

Born In Philadelphia, Kathleen spent most of her life in South Jersey, where she built a life centered on family, compassion and lifelong learning.

Kathleen dedicated many years of her professional life as a Human Resource Director for Angelo Brothers Company, where she made many lifelong friends and was respected for her dedication, fairness and care for others. Anyone who knew Kathy knows how much she loved cats. She gave generously of her time, volunteering to help those in need and, of course, cats-a reflection of her kind and nurturing spirit.

Kathy had a lifelong love of opera and the performing arts, attending many performances over the years with her good friend, Bruce. Always eager to learn, Kathy took many classes enhancing her knowledge or pursuing new interests throughout her lifetime. Kathy was passionate about her family history and genealogy, a journey that led her to Ireland to experience firsthand the land of her ancestors-an experience she cherished deeply.

Above all, Kathleen was a devoted mother, grandmother and GG. She found her greatest joy in her family and will be remembered for her warmth, strength and unwavering love. She is survived by her three children, Janet (Paul), Lauren (Ed) and Christopher (Charline), her grandchildren, Brandi (Chris), Ali (Derrick), Paul (Melanie) Dakota, Jett, Michael & Catelin, her great grandchildren, Bella, Joey, Amelia, Eva, Ameris, Sophia & Paulie and her step children, John, Sarah, Kate, Mark and Mara. Also survived by the father of her children and good friend, John DiBeneditto, her brother-in-law, Stan and nieces Liz and Jennifer. Kathy also leaves behind many close friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Kathy was predeceased in death by her parents Joe and Ida Lane; her beloved sister, Janet; her grandson, Austin; her stepson, Kevin and her former spouse Stephen.

In lieu of a funeral, family and friends will be invited to join us in a Celebration of Life during the summer where we will share memories, honor the love she gave so freely and celebrate a life well lived.
