Karen Carr

Karen A. Carr (nee Mills) age 78 of Atco, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her beloved husband Ronald and her children, Shane Carr of Atco, NJ, Meghan Attanasio of FL and Siobhan Gills of Atco, NJ. Karen is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Gills, IV, Caitlyn Gills and the late Mikael Wells, as well as her son-in-laws, Robert Gills III and Nick Attanasio

Karen was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a love for nature and enjoyed camping and visiting historical sites with them. In her leisure, she was a devoted fan of crime dramas, true crime documentaries, and country music.

Karen was an animal lover and enjoyed seeing the deer and other wildlife that wandered in the woods near her home. She made sure her family always had pets. Later in life she fell in love with a pitbull named Cheerio she saw at the Voorhees Animal Orphanage. This began a devotion or adopting and rescuing pitbulls. Cheerio was the first, followed by Bubbha Mahomes, and Percy.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco, NJ. Condolences may be shared on his online guestbook.
