Julianne Sturgis Keller, age 92, beloved aunt and respected member of the community, passed away peacefully in Cherry Hill, NJ, on November 17, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Julian L. Sturgis and Elsie A. Sturgis (nee Gaibler).
Julianne earned her bachelor's degree from Temple University and went on to serve for many years as the executive secretary to the Chairman of the Federal Reserve in Philadelphia. She was a talented violinist for 26 years, a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a gifted gourmet cook. Julianne will be remembered for her intelligence, warmth, and many talents, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of more than 61 years, Edward S. Keller, Jr.; her parents, Julian L. and Elsie A. Sturgis; and her siblings, Julian L. Sturgis, Jr. and Elsie Rosensteel.
Julianne is survived by her devoted niece, Elizabeth C. Scheyder, and her husband, Robert F. Scheyder.
An Eastern Star Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08619. Family, friends, and all who knew and loved Julianne are invited to honor her life and legacy as she is laid to rest.
