It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Joseph Patrick Miller, who left us peacefully on February 27, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on March 24, 1937, in Hazleton, PA, to William and Loretta (née Riley) Miller. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Navy before embarking on a fulfilling career as a truck driver and dedicated many years to Hostess Brands Company.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (née Stern) Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Michael Iuliucci; his parents; William and Loretta (née Riley) Miller; siblings, William Miller, Jr., Eugene Miller and Margaret Damon; and grandson, Joseph Masino, IV.
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Dawn M. Miller and Lisa M. Miller; his sister, Suzee Hensley; four grandchildren, Melissa Iuliucci, Amber (Eric) Brooks, Ashley Iuliucci and Michael Iuliucci; and four great-grandchildren; Trevor, Teagan, Cameron and Bodyn. Who will carry on his legacy of love and laughter. His journeys through life may have come to a close, but the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten.
Joseph was a man of many talents and passions. For over 50 years, he delighted friends, family, and strangers alike with his enchanting renditions of Frank Sinatra's classic songs at various venues throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His voice, rich and warm, brought joy to countless audiences, creating cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of many. Beyond his professional achievements, he was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and loved cheering on his teams during game time.
Alongside his love for music, Joseph found great pleasure in landscaping and gardening, cultivating beautiful green spaces that reflected his nurturing spirit. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 463, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication.
