Joseph W. McIntyre, III

Joseph W. McIntyre, III, 82, of Tansboro, passed away on September 25, 2025, remaining stubborn until the end.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph W. McIntyre, Jr and Ruth (née Gross), his brother Dennis, and his stepson Robert Sharp, Jr.

He leaves behind a loving wife, Madelyn Sharp (née Armano), stepchildren Amber Pallante (Frank), Grant Sharp, and Ardan Sharp, and grandchildren.

Raised in Westville, NJ, he attended Gloucester Catholic High School. As a young man he was drafted to the United States Army and loyally served his country in Vietnam. He worked for New Jersey Bell, eventually retiring after almost four decades. Upon retirement he pursued his love of all things mechanical and would spend hours in his garage tinkering. From drill presses, to watches, to lawn mowers, you name it-Joe loved it, could fix it, and saw its value in our world. He loved having coffee and breakfast with a number of close friends, who shared his interests.

His loss leaves a void on the lives of those he touched.

Services will be private for the family.
