Joseph P. Dico

Joseph P. Dico of Waterford Works, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia, PA, passed away on August 6, 2026, surrounded by family and friends, after a brief battle with cancer.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Nancy (nee Nicosie) Dico and his sister, Irene Dico, and his niece, Amanda Whalen.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Loreen (nee DeStefano), his Uncle Richard, cousin Denise, his great niece, Brianna, as well as many relatives, friends, and others whose lives he touched.

Joseph loved music and on Sundays, he would play guitar for the choir. He loved offering his talents to the Lord. He was so proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus Chapter 7463, 4th Degree and South Jersey Locksmith Association.

Relatives, friends, and fellow Knights are invited to attend Joseph's viewing on Wednesday, August 12, from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 315 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.

Cremation will be held privately.

In honor of Joseph and his favorite team, everyone is invited to wear Eagles green to the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that was near and dear to Joseph's heart.
