It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph M. Christinzio Jr., of Atco, NJ, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and dedicated public servant, who left us on October 21, 2026, at the age of 43. Joseph spent his life making a positive impact in his community.

Joseph was a proud Sergeant for the Camden County Department of Corrections, serving for 12 years with unwavering commitment and dedication. His role in public safety was not just a job; it was a calling that he answered with honor and compassion. His colleagues and those he served will remember his strength, integrity, and his ability to connect with others.

Joseph leaves behind his loving wife, Lindsay Christinzio, his devoted parents, Joseph and Rosemary Christinzio; his sisters, Angela Simpers (Russell) and Lisa Shrader (William); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, River and Ranger, who were his absolute world.

Joe had a way of lighting up every room he walked into. He was truly the life of every party, bringing joy, laughter, and an unforgettable energy wherever he went. If there was music playing, you could always count on finding Joe dancing; and even when there wasn't, he would find a reason to dance anyway. His quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and perfectly timed jokes never failed to bring smiles and laughter to those around him. Joe had a special gift for making even the simplest moments memorable, and his larger-than-life personality and the happiness he brought to others will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004 with words of remembrance at 2:00 pm. To view the livestream & recording of the funeral please click here.
