Joan Rae Small

Joan Rae Small, age 88, of Pitman, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025.

A woman of steadfast faith, Joan loved the Lord and found great joy in reading her Bible. Her devotion to God deeply influenced her family, inspiring them to walk in faith. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Joan previously worked as a secretary at Weyerhaeuser in Bellmawr, NJ.

She was predeceased by her sons, David A. Small and James R. Small, and by her parents, Raymond and Bertha (née Spaeth) Myers.

Joan is survived by her son, Ken W. Small (Valerie); grandchildren, Mark Small, Matthew Small, Amanda Gallagher, Melissa Kim, Joshua Small, and Katie Small; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Bennett, Liam, Colin, Fiona, Hannah, and Jason; and sister, Carole Muller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Atco Cemetery.
