Jayantibhai C. Patel

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Shri Jayantibhai "JC" Patel, 91, of Voorhees, NJ, on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

JC was a longtime active member and volunteer of India Temple Association (ITA) and the Hindu Senior Group.

He was born in a small town of Sunav, India. His first stay in the US lasted two years during his pursuit of Masters in Civil Engineering at the University of Minnesota. With newly minted Masters Degree in hand, he proudly returned to India to establish his career and family. Two decades later in 1981, JC returned to the US. This time with family of 4 and this time, it was to make the US his home for the next 45 years. He has touched so many lives by always caring, being kind and generous, and performing community service at every opportunity.

He is survived by his wife Sharda, sons, Jaysheel and Jaydeep, daughters in-law, Varsha and Rina, and grandchildren, Sonya, Priya, Rahil, Renali and Serena.

The viewing and puja will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026 at 3:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004. To view the livestream/recording of the service, please click here.
