Janet Martin

Janet Martin, age 84, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on November 29, 2025. She was born in Camden, NJ, to the late Jack and Grace Angelastro (née Wilke).

Janet worked as an administrative assistant for Brown & Williamson in Marlton, NJ until her retirement. Janet loved traveling. Hawaii, Sweden and Ireland trips were favorites, with Disney World trips alongside her grandchildren holding a special place in her heart. She loved the beach and spent many happy days at the family beach house in Sea Isle City, NJ.

She loved word games-especially crossword puzzles and Scrabble-and Friday nights were reserved for Rummikub. She had lots of hobbies, including stained glass, ceramics, knitting, reading, and she was an avid bowler for years. She loved watching PBS and Hallmark movies.

She had a group of life-long friends (The Club) that she met with every month since high school. She loved entertaining and hosted both Thanksgiving and Christmas for many years. Baking Christmas cookies with her grandchildren and dyeing Easter Eggs became cherished family traditions that filled the holidays with sweet memories.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Janet is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Grace Angelastro, and her brother, Joseph Angelastro.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Martin; her children, Cheryl Gutherman (Brian), Kimberly Casarotto (Orlando), James Martin, and Chrissy Radovich (Michael); her grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Brooke, Jimmy, Samantha, Jack, and Michael; and her great-grandchild, Lily.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
