Jacqueline Smith

Jacqueline Smith (nee Holovachuk), age 79, of Berlin, NJ passed away on Sunday, June 29th, 2025. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, Michael Smith, cherished sons, Michael Smith IV, Brian Smith (Robyn), Stephen Smith, and Dan Smith, brother, Joseph Holovachuk (Terry), grandchildren, Brady Smith, Darren Smith and Meghan Smith, as well as her nephews, Joseph Holovachuk, Timothy Holovachuk, and Kenneth Holovachuk (Lindsey). Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Stephanie Holovachuk (nee Jagielski), and her brother, Stephen Holovachuk. She is reunited with her fur babies, toy poodles, Scruffy and Buddy.

Jacqueline leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Throughout her whole life, she cared for her family, beginning with helping her mom with the house and her siblings to raising 4 boys of her own. Jacqueline attended Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia, PA and later on in life worked at Provident Mutal Life as an executive secretary where she met the love of her life, Michael. She enjoyed family trips to Cape Cod, Ocean City and Wildwood. She was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church in Atco, NJ and adored Pope John Paul II, for his values and Polish roots. Jacqueline will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004 with the additional viewing on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004. Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ.
