Guri R. Chakravarty

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guri R. Chakravarty, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully at the age of 103 on March 10, 2026. Born on October 5, 1922, in Bangladesh, Guri's life was a testament to resilience, love, and the spirit of family.

Guri devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, embracing her role as a homemaker with grace and devotion. Her warm smile and nurturing presence created a sanctuary for her loved ones, and she offered wisdom and comfort that will be cherished forever. Guri leaves behind her family and friends, and she joins her husband, parents, children and other family members in eternal rest.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing & puja on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm noon, at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004. Cremation to follow.
