George Tuttle

January 25, 1941 — May 10, 2025

George S. Tuttle, III, of Berlin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Elaine Tuttle (nee Toudy), children, Fred Tuttle, daughter in-law, Amanda Tuttle, George Tuttle (Melissa), Donald Tuttle and Deborah Tuttle, brother, Robert Tuttle, grandchildren, Ryder Joseph, and George Andrew, the daughter of Melissa, Harper Jean, many nieces and nephews as well as his dog, Millie. George is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Clara Tuttle, siblings, Carl Tuttle and Laura Tuttle as well as his pets, Pepper, Zipper and Snuggles.

George was a lifetime member of the Berlin Fire Company, serving as a Fire Police for 21 years; he also owned and operated Tuttle's Home Improvement company. He was a devoted member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Berlin, and a member of the Square Circle Sportsmen Inc. in Gibbsboro. George enjoyed trips to Cape May, fishing and playing poker, riding his electric bike and trading lifetime stories with family and friends. If he wasn't out and about, you could find him relaxing in his chair or tending to the garden or yard. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandkids.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Centenary United Methodist Church, 149 S White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009, with additional visitation on Thursday, May 15th, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. The funeral service begins at 11:00am on Thursday, May 15th, 2025. The final alarm will follow after the church services at Berlin Fire Company. In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory can be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church or to the AWA in Voorhees.
