Genevieve Joseph

Genevieve Joseph (nee Manborde), age 57, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 18th, 2026. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Hildreth Joseph, children, Shane Johnson, Sade Llewellyn, and Ryan Joseph, daughter in-law, Jencita Johnson, her siblings, Cheddie Manborde, Nicola Rickman, and Rochelle Rickman, grandchildren, Declan, Shane, Jayden, Ajhani, Hodari, Nyla-Shea, Niara, Makenna and Jayce, uncles, Clovis Chisholm and Rohan Manborde and nephew, Jordan Vickers. Genevieve also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Roy Manborde and Evadney Chisholm and her brother, Brian Guthrie.

Genevieve was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, nana, aunt and friend. She worked as a medical coder throughout her life in New York Presbyterian Hospitals and as an independent contractor, even teaching medical coding at Medgar Evers College in New York. Genevieve took great pride and joy in cooking and hosting parties. She loved to decorate and make her house a home! Her kitchen was always filled with laughter, love, and mouth-watering dishes that brought joy to all who gathered around her table. Her passion for cooking and entertaining will be deeply missed, but the memories of her delicious food and warm company will live on.

She enjoyed watching tennis on tv in her free time but most of all loved being a "Baseball Mom" cheering on her son at his games.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, January 30th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004. The funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with interment to take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
