Evelyn Catherine Winstel

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Evelyn C. Winstel (nee Mitchell), of Berlin, NJ, at the age of 77 on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. She leaves behind her son, Robert C. Eichenberg, Jr., stepchildren, Ryan Winstel, Albert E. Winstel, Jr., Cheryl Gottshall, Shannon Winstel, MaryLou Sandler, and Margaret Gibson, as well as many grandchildren, and other extended family members. Evelyn is predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Winstel, Sr., as well as her parents, Clayton and Florence Mitchell.

Evelyn was a devoted member of Grace Family Fellowship Church, she found strength and community in her faith, connecting with others through shared beliefs and friendships that transcended time. Those who had the pleasure of sharing a meal with Evelyn know that her laughter and warmth filled every dinner table, especially during her favorite evenings spent at Roma pizza with dear friends. She enjoyed trips to the casinos, most of all she deeply cherished the time spent with her family and her dog, Lucy.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco, NJ.
