It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ethel Jane (née Wesley) Janowiak, of Atco, NJ who passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at the age of 93. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she devoted herself to creating a loving, welcoming home for those she cherished.
Ethel was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, John Michael Janowiak. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael (Carol), John (Beth), Susan, Ginny (Rick), and Joann; her grandchildren, Chrissy (Nick), Carlie (Emily), Johnny (Kaelen), Jessie (Noel), Tori, Ricky, Chris, Josh, and Bobby; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Bennett, Eliza, Camden, Wesley, and Gregory.
Born in Camden, NJ, Ethel was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School. She spent more then 40 years in Audubon where she was an active member of her church and community and proudly volunteered with the Audubon Bon-Bons Drum & Bugle Corps for many years where her daughters were members. She was also an avid bowler well into her 80's winning many awards. Ethel also found joy in life's simple pleasures - she was an avid reader, enjoyed drawing, and took great pride in tending to her garden. In her later years, she continued to be a bright light to everyone she met at her retirement community and enjoyed watching old movies with her children out-doing everyone with her knowledge of actors.
Ethel will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved so deeply.
