Edward Michael Reilly

Edward Michael Reilly, 45, of Blue Anchor, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at his home in Cherry Hill, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer that he fought until the very end.

Eddie was born in Voorhees, New Jersey, on August 6, 1981, to his loving parents, Joseph D. Reilly and Sandra J. Reilly (Campbell). He attended school in Winslow Township and went to Edgewood High School in Atco. He went on to attend Camden County College, where he studied business.

Throughout his life, Eddie worked in several different fields before finding his home as a mortgage broker at NewRez LLC in Fort Worth, Pennsylvania, a career he remained dedicated to until his passing.

Eddie had a smile and laugh that were truly unforgettable. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his big heart, and his unwavering loyalty to the people he loved. He was the person family and friends could always count on-whether they needed advice, a listening ear, or simply someone to be there. Eddie never hesitated to help the people he cared about.

Eddie had a deep love for music, food, traveling, and, of course, fashion. He took great pride in his appearance and always seemed to have the perfect outfit for every occasion, especially during the many trips and adventures he enjoyed throughout his life. He loved attending concerts and seeing some of his favorite artists, including Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Adele, and Britney Spears. His love of music extended to country music and many other genres as well.

Eddie was also a proud supporter and member of the LGBTQ+ community and cared deeply about its causes.

One of Eddie's favorite simple pleasures was taking his daily walks at Cooper River Park in Cherry Hill, near his home. He especially loved walking there in the fall, taking in the changing leaves, the wildlife, and the peace and beauty of his surroundings. Those quiet moments were something he cherished.

Family was everything to Eddie. The holidays were especially important to him, and he loved having everyone together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Although Eddie did not have children of his own, he poured so much love into his nieces, nephews, and great-niece and great-nephew. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Ed," the favorite uncle who always knew how to make them smile and who loved giving them the best presents for their birthdays and holidays. Making the children in his life happy brought him tremendous joy.

Eddie will be deeply missed by his parents, Joseph and Sandra Reilly, sister, Jessica Reilly, of Camden; his brother, Joseph Reilly Jr., of Atco; his nieces, Ashley Reilly, Gianna Garcia, and McKenzie Reilly; his nephews, Joseph "Boo" Reilly, Gaige Reilly, Giovanni Garcia, and Ripp Reilly; and his great-niece, Aspen Reilly, and great-nephew, Axel Mangual. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who were an important part of his life.

Eddie was a truly special part of our family. His laughter, his humor, his kindness, his style, and his enormous heart will never be forgotten. The memories he gave us will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know and love him.

Eddie, you will forever be missed, forever remembered, and forever loved. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love you, Eddie.
