Edward Keller

Edward Sachs Keller Jr., beloved husband, uncle, and respected member of the community, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at the age of 95. He was born on November 15, 1929, in Trenton, New Jersey to Edward S. and Edna Mae (née Geary) Keller.

Edward was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War, embodying that spirit of service and dedication throughout his life. After returning from his military duties, he attended Muhlenberg University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and earned an A.B. in English.

After college, he pursued a successful career in banking. Early in his career, he joined Continental Bank which, through a series of mergers, became part of PNC. He ultimately retired from PNC as Vice President, Trust Administration.

Edward was a Mason for 55 years, joining Maple Shade - Moorestown Lodge No. 281 where he served a term as Master in 1976. After becoming a Master Mason, he became a Shriner, first joining Crescent Temple in Trenton, New Jersey, and later transitioning to LuLu Temple in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.

Edward's passion for music was evident through his life. He played the trumpet in the Morrisville High School Marching Band and later in the Crescent Temple Band. He played the trumpet and the cornet for numerous years in bands both small and large, showcasing his musical talent and commitment to community engagement.

A long-time resident of Moorestown, New Jersey, Edward spent his retirement years in Cherry Hill. Over more than 61 years of marriage, he and his wife, Julianne Keller, cherished countless moments together, enjoying music, travel, and good food. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and memorable experiences.

Edward was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Mary Keller Clark.

He is survived by his beloved spouse, Julianne Keller, and his cherished niece, Elizabeth Scheyder and her husband Robert, who will forever hold him dear in their hearts.

A Masonic Service and Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08619. Family, friends, and all who knew and loved Edward are invited to honor his life and legacy as he is laid to rest.
