Douglas C. Flood

Douglas Flood, 89, of West Berlin, NJ passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to his family. A proud Army veteran who served two tours and a tour in the US Navy also was a dedicated Postman. Douglas served his country and his community with honor and quiet strength.

Douglas found joy in life's simple pleasures - a cold beer, a hopeful lottery ticket, and time spent with the people he loved most. He had a playful spirit and a quick sense of humor that could light up any room. More than anything, he showed his love simply by being there.

Though Douglas is no longer with us, his laughter and the memories he gave us will live on in our hearts forever.

He was deeply loved - and he will be dearly missed.

Burial will be private and will take place at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery.
