Doris "Cookie" M. Picciotti (née Williams)

February 25, 1942 - July 1, 2025

Doris "Cookie" M. Picciotti passed away peacefully at her home in Medford on July 1, 2025. Born on February 25, 1942, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest C. Williams and the late Mary Pearl Williams (née Beeso).

Doris was the devoted wife of Robert Picciotti, with whom she shared 63 loving years of marriage. Together they built a beautiful life, raising three daughters and nurturing a family that brought her endless joy.

She was the heart of her family kind, loving, and generous. Doris delighted in entertaining her grandchildren, doting on her great granddaughter, and creating a home filled with warmth and laughter. She was also a die hard hockey fan and rarely missed a Flyers or playoff game. She will be remembered as the embodiment of grace, compassion, and selflessness. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Picciotti, daughters Elaine Galayda, Lisa Picciotti, and Denise Picciotti; grandchildren, Paulina Galayda (Ryan), Ashley Galayda, and Dominic Amilcare; great-granddaughter, Raena and goddaughter, Deborah Hirschorn. She also leaves behind her cherished canine companion, Ziggy.

Doris is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Williams, Ethel Williams, Patricia Haulbrick, Brenda Lankford, Shirley Scarey, Michael, Edward, Thomas, Donald, Gary Williams, sister-in-law, Lorraine Kinsey, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She shared a special bond with her sisters, Mary Repnicki and Peggy D'Angelo.

She was predeceased by her siblings Betty, Frank, and Kenneth Williams.

Doris will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, July 11th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd, Medford, NJ 08055. Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 am. Inurnment will take place following the church services at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
