Donald Harry Sutton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Harry Sutton, who left us peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 6, 1942, in Clementon, NJ, Donald was a proud resident of Shamong, NJ, where he lived life to the fullest.

Donald was a talented painter, dedicating over 60 years to his craft. He started at just 12 years old and eventually established his own business, Don's Custom Painting, which became well-known in the area. He took great pride in his work, and his artistic touch can be seen throughout many homes in South Jersey.

Outside of work, Donald found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved visiting diners across South Jersey, sharing good meals and even better conversations with friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing.

Donald is survived by his beloved daughter, Mary Kelchner, along with two granddaughters and a grandson, who will carry on his legacy. He was predeceased by his son, Ronald Sutton, as well as his parents Charles H. Sr., and Mae Sutton and five siblings.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donald's life during a visitation on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm followed by a Eulogy at 3:30 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's memory may be made to the COPD Foundation.
