Dolores Theresa Martini

Dolores T. Martini (nee Scagnelli), age 91, passed away on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. Dolores leaves behind her beloved granddaughter, Leigh (Jim), and two great-grandchildren, Steven and James.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Joseph John Martini, Jr., her two children, Lori Martini Rauh and Joseph John Martini, III, as well as her parents, Joseph and Louise Scagnelli (nee Guglielmetti), and her brother, Louis. Dolores was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Cherry Hill in 1965. Dolores was influential with the New Jersey PTA in the 1970s-80s, and she served as a national committee member/elected state PTA official for many years. Dolores worked diligently to promote child advocacy, improve public schools, enhance child welfare, and strengthen family engagement with the public educational system. Dolores's intelligence, kindness and selfless compassion for others will be greatly missed.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory in Atco, NJ. Dolores will be laid to rest privately with her husband and son at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
