Diana Scimeca

Diana Scimeca, age 79, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on November 1, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John and Giovanna (née Carelli) Scimeca, Diana dedicated her career to helping others, first as a medical secretary and later in human resources. She also volunteered at the Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Evesham, NJ.

Diana loved spending time "down the shore." She will also be remembered as a devoted dog mom to several babies over the years and a dog whisperer to others. A passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, she rarely missed a game and enjoyed texting friends and family her analysis during them. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate her loved ones birthdays, by taking them to a place of their choosing and spending precious time catching up. She was also known for giving the best, most thoughtful, meaningful gifts. Her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit will be deeply missed.

Diana was predeceased by her beloved partner of 35 years, Joanna M. Lacivita. She is survived by her nephew, John Kennealy (Marybeth); niece, Dawn Kline (Mark); great-niece and nephews, James Kline (Christina), Giovanna Kline, Jake Kennealy, and Liam Kennealy; and great-great-nieces, Lilith, Emmy, and Tegan. Diana was dearly loved by the Lacivita family and Murphy family and will be greatly missed by many very dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, November 15, from 10:15 AM-10:45 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, located at 62 Gantown Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
